Fees

 

Individual Psychological Therapy - 50 minutes

  • Our fees are guided by the APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2023-2024, and are set below the recommendation. Please discuss your fees upon appointment enquiry. 

  • Standard fees vary for daytime and after-hour appointments

  • Low cost appointments are available to people experiencing significant financial hardship. Please discuss this with your psychologist and our admin team. 

  • Session formats available: Face-to-face or Telehealth

  • Longer sessions can be scheduled upon request

Rebates

 

Medicare rebates​

  • All our psychologists are registered with Medicare, allowing clients with a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from their GP to receive a substantial rebate.

  • Under a MHCP, a rebate of $137.05 per session is available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

  • To obtain a referral & MHCP, make an appointment with your GP and they will be able to assist you with this process. Be sure to tell their reception this is what you are coming in for.



Private health

  • You can use Private Health Insurance to claim a rebate for psychology appointments, however, you cannot claim both Medicare and Private rebates for the same session.

  • Please check with your Private Health Insurance Provider to ensure you are covered for psychology sessions.

NDIS

  • We accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS plans for individual therapy.

Cancellations

​

If you can’t attend your appointment, we require at least 48 hours notice so we can offer this time to another person on the waiting list.

Please note the below cancellation fees:

  • Notifying us with more than 48 hours: no fee

  • Notifying us between 24-48 hours: $100 cancellation fee

  • Notifying us with less than 24 hours or non-attendance: full fee

Billing

​

We make your invoicing, rebates and billing as easy as possible for you. 

  • We process Medicare rebates directly on same the day and the rebate is applied within 24 hours. 

  • Most payments are processed by credit card and your card details are securely stored and receipts are emailed to you immediately. 

  • You can also pay by direct debit.
